When I put on the songwriter hat, I try to draw inspiration from... well from wherever it comes from. So my music doesn't always fit in one of the standard industry genres, other than maybe "singer-songwriter." My songs tend to be about the ordinary, day-to-day stuff of life; but I'm always looking for the killer turn of phrase; and I'm always fishing for a heart-melting melody.
